I love tutorials. They are definitely the first thing I look for when I decide whether or not to follow a blog. Love the placemats!
ReplyDeletekennedycraft (at) aol (dot) com
I love tutorials too!!
ReplyDeleteOh tutes here too with photos, or I like seeing what people have made and links to the patterns etc.
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials too, but I think what makes me follow is if they have similar tastes in fabrics together with unusual ideas. Love your fabric choice by the way!!!
ReplyDeletebroken camera or no these placemats look very festive :) love the fabric!!
ReplyDeleteincase I win :) my email is ekswhyzed_@hotmail.com
Tutorials are good but it is the fabrics and colours that have me hooked....also like hearing a little about your daily life.
ReplyDeleteTutorials are essential for me too, but with photos or videos: I'm a beginner French hand sewer so sewing instructions in English can be tricky sometimes...
ReplyDeleteEasy projects are also a must.
But I also like to hear from the blogger!
And in the meantime, thanks for a chance to win these lovely placemats!
linedupuy(at)hotmail(dot)fr
I love sites with interesting/pretty photography, daily or consistent posting, and a good sense of humor!
ReplyDeleterachelehorn[at]gmail[dot]com
I tend to follow blogs that offer a lot of tutorials and tips, as well as pretty photography. The photography may even be the most important part!
ReplyDeleteI look for pretty projects like this! Gosh one day...one day I will be able to do that! I also look for how to's (or something I think i can replicate) I have a blog Today's top 20 where I feature 20 ideas from around blog world each day -- so I keep up with lots of blogs! I'm a new follower!
ReplyDeleteAmanda
amandaandandy@yahoo.com
I follow blogs for sewing inspiration. I love photos of items bloggers have made, the way they put different fabrics together. I am always amazed at what some people can create with a bit of fabric. I also like tutorials.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the great giveaway x
I love tutorials. I seek out blogs that post step-by-step tutorials and go back to them over and over again.
ReplyDeleteI love the Michael Miller fabric! Thanks for the chance to win.
Hi, I'm a beginner in sewing and quilting, so when I read the blogs I enjoy tutorials, hints and any ideas that make sewing better / easier. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials (that aren't too complicated), and the occasional giveaway.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome giveaway...very generous. Thank you! I love the placemat and love the fabric chosen.
ReplyDeleteWow, I can't pick just one thing for a blog to follow. I think the overall package, fun to read, colorful, inspiration in their sewing, tutorials, can I learn from them, etc. But, then I have some that I follow that are fairly simple and seem like everyday folks like me, not running a shop, or posting everyday, that sort of thing. Just gals that like to encourage one another.
I'm also participating, it's my first giveaway also. Stop by my blog to enter, if you haven't already! :D
Merry Christmas!
I'd love to win the placemats - I've been wanting to make my own, but presents for others have been taking first place. On a blog, I like simple design, and lots of photos. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteNice! I'm not really talented, so I like blogs with really easy things I can do too.
ReplyDeleteI look for creative ideas that can easily be done without a sewing machine. I like to hadnstictch!
ReplyDeletejinglesells at gmail dot com
I love the tutorials
ReplyDeletethanks
violet_bg1@yahoo.co.uk
I really enjoy blogs that have tutorials with pictures on them!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway!
h_freund@hotmail.com
I am looking for inspiration and tutorials!! I tend to follow ones that have a new tutorial about every month...gives me something to look forward too!!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy blogs that offer tutorials, but also look for inspiration. Thanks for the giveaway! Love the placemat (and am in need of them)!!
ReplyDeletemegancparsons@gmail.com
I mainly follow blogs for inspiration for my own sewing and crafting. I love tutorials and recipes.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty placemats!
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials, specifically for children's items. I noticed you used Heather Ross fabric for your daughter's pillow. I have a bunch of Far Far Away two sitting on my quilting table :)
(Also, I loved your sister's book!)
LauraL444 at yahoo dot com
Tutorials are definitely a must. Very nice placemats!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a true formula for what makes me follow a blog. I look for color combos and patterns that fit my personality. So I end up following people that are on my same "design level" if you will.
ReplyDeleteI like blogs that post frequently:) The kind of sewing I do is usually simple stuff..like reusable gift wrap bags, doll clothes and bags:) Thank you and Merry Christmas:)
ReplyDeletelee_nicholas@hotmail.com
I love great photos and crafty inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a GREAT giveaway!
Merry Christmas!
I appreciate great photography and cute quilts/projects that inspire me to try them myself.
ReplyDeleteI love the placemats! They match my colors quite well!
ReplyDeleteI'm drawn to creativity! Thanks for the giveaway...
ReplyDeletewhat you look for in a sewing or quilting blog.
ReplyDeleteI look for someone I can relate to, who has a style similar to my own. I gravitate towards blogs with an honest and personal voice. Humor doesn't hurt either. :)
What makes you follow one blog over another and what kinds of content do you like to find when you visit your favorite blogs? It depends on the blog. I follow lots of different types of blogs. My favorite ones help me solve some kind of a problem (even one like, what do I do with all these fabric scraps!), or teach me something, or just share about something they're passionate about. I think when someone is passionate in their writing it almost doesn't matter the content. (Well . . . unless they're a nazi or something . . .)
Ramble much? Sorry. I could go on forever on this topic. I actually wrote a post about this topic awhile back: http://www.skooksplayground.com/2010/02/blogging-why-read-and-why-write.html
I love lots and lots of tutorials. : )
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials, featuring tips for making common techinques easier as well as ones that have modern items for inspiration. I hate when people put pictures of gross food they cooked for dinner, but love seeing other people's craft areas and their works in their locales.
ReplyDeletecelestespaans@gmail.com
I look for modern fresh ideas in projects. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI look for tutorials and just good inspiration that makes me want to run right to my machine and make something!
ReplyDeleteCute placemat! I love blogs that have good photos and use modern fabrics. Those two items probably appeal the most to me.
ReplyDeleteWhen I look for new sewing blogs or blogs to follow I like a variety of projects and some tutorials with lots of pics. I'm just starting to sew so the more details the better :)
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL!!! Thanks for the fun!
ReplyDeletethree4me_4now@yahoo.com
Those are beautiful! Great fabric choices!
ReplyDeleteI usually follow blogs with lots of tutorials and blogs that focus on kid's clothes, since I have two little girls.
i look for cute projects and good writing.
ReplyDelete(and those placemats would look PERFECT in my kitchen!)
When I look it's just to see what you are trying, maybe a fabric, a craft or idea prompts me to something I'm thinking of making or trying. great giveaway too. texhelena(at)aol(dot)com
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely placemat! I look for great pictures and tutorials. cheers!
ReplyDeleteI look for easy to follow tutorials with fun fabrics to make them fun to look at!
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials with pictures. I'm new to sewing and haven't tried much but find inspiration in seeing how others accomplish their projects. Thanks for the chance
ReplyDeleteshutterboo at gmail dot com
I'm a sucker for bright, cheery colors in photographs. :) Great handmade giveaway! Mine is at http://lindsaysews.com. lindsay.conner(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteI think I go for a like mindedness of colour, humour and lovely stuff in general! I'm not so concerned about tutorials - those aren't necessarily the blogs that I follow -
ReplyDeleteI tend to follow people whose blogs make me want to know them better ...
As a new quilter, I look for tips, tutorials, lots of pictures, and giveaways. :)
ReplyDeleteAs a beginner I love tutorials, specially if they have good quality photos.
ReplyDeleteI am new to sewing, so good tutorials. Sometimes I follow blogs just because a project will catch my eye, although I do like a good read I dont just look at the pictures LOL
ReplyDeleteFantastic! This placemat is soooo cute.
ReplyDeleteI know blogging can be really hard. But I do love fun projects with tutorials, pretty pictures for inspiration, and amusing or unique writing. I'll settle for two out of three. ;)
Great job on your first giveaway! This is cute!
ReplyDeleteswim(dot)kayla(at)hotmail(dot)com
OMG those are beautiful! I look for tutorials.
ReplyDeleteAnother vote for clear, precise tutorials! I also love pretty pictures - they don't have to be professional quality, but sometimes I just wonder about people's presentations choices - like, did they not notice their bare feet in the bottom of the shot, or the table filled with clutter in the background? ;p
ReplyDeleteWhat I look for most in a sewing blog is lots of tutorials. I love sewing!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win.
Like many others, tutorials are what draw me in, at least at first!
ReplyDeleteI like blogs with tutorials or links to how something was made. I like simple modern projects. Your placemats are just like what I would make for myself if I wasn't so busy making stuff for everyone else ;)
ReplyDeleteI like fun tutorials using great fabrics on the sewing sites that I frequent. Detailed photography is a plus. These occasional giveaways aren't a bad idea either. Thanks for the chance to win. Happy Christmas. stephspitzer at gmail
ReplyDeleteI love when people discuss their process, including what went wrong. And tutorials - always good!
ReplyDeleteblueberryblues5 at gmail
I am in love with those placemats! Just what I've been looking for.
ReplyDeleteI love when people show tutorials and tips too.
Beautiful work! One thing I look for in a quilting blog to follow is for it to have tutorials and links to other great resources.
ReplyDeletethese are so cute! in a sewing/quilting blog, i love tutorials and fresh sewing project ideas. :)
ReplyDeletebess
What cute placemats! I love them! I love seeing projects that are fun cute & easy to do when I look at sewing blogs! I want to see something that will give me inspiration! :-) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteCute placemats! I look for tutorials that are fun, easy to do, can be made with supplies I already have at home, and are well written.
ReplyDeleteI am always searching for tutorials and cute children toys. Love to be insprirated
ReplyDeleteI was strolling through The Blog Roll from Holly Jolly Blog Bingo and found you (and alot of others) in a round about way. Wow! Those placemats are amazing.
ReplyDeleteWhat I really love in any quilting/sewing/crafty blog are the wonderful people that post them. I am always looking for new patterns and really like learning about peoples families.
Have a great day!

Adorable place mats! For me to follow a blog, I love a little personal, good or bad, I love when folks share cute little tips or recipes, a warm inviting look and feel is a big plus!
ReplyDeleteThanks for a lovely giveaway!
excellent fabric choices! Love the dots!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Christmas placemats! Will make such a pretty Christmas table.
ReplyDeleteI'm participating in the Sew, Mama, Sew Giveaway Day! I hope you have time to stop over and enter my giveaway at homemakerhoney.com

I look for something fairly easy (I'm a beginner sewer) and with a lot of pictures in the instructions/tutorial!
ReplyDeletegrl_4_God(at)hotmail(dot)com
I look for well detailed and photographed tutorials with original designs that I've not seen a lot of. These placemats are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful giveaway! Happy holidays to you and yours! <3
krencamp(at)gmail(dot)com
Quilting blogs just make me dream. I'd love to have my own handmade quilt, and I don't feel talented enough to be able to make one myself !
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance, and merry Christmas !
What lovely placemats!
ReplyDeleteIn sewing blogs I look for unique content and clear tutorials. Great pictures help, but as long as the project is clear that's fine for me. I tend to follow blogs that consistently feature projects I'm interested in and likely to be able to make myself.
Thanks for participating in the giveaway!
Pictures-because they are worth a 1,000 words
ReplyDeleteHumor-we should take ourselves so seriously all the time!
Honesty-I like when the blogger gives you the nitty gritty of a project. Was it hard? Easy? Absolutely frustrating, but completely worth it?
Thanks for the giveaway! Robyn (dot) Geddes (at) gmail (dot) com
first for visual images that appeal to me. Sometimes the banner is enough.
ReplyDeletesecond for information....products techniques something I don't know or had forgotten.
tutorials
I love tutorials!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials with lots of pictures as I find it difficult to follow the technical aspects sometimes!
I love your handiwork. When I browse blogs, I love to see pictures of work, lots of bright colors, and am just awed by how creative people can be!
ReplyDeleteReddie10 (at) gmail (dot) com
Hi! What beautiful placemats! I like to read tutorials on blogs... Thanks! mbkufen@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteDefinitely tutorials, with lots of pictures and helpful little hints and tricks. :) That placemat is gorgeous, fingers crossed!
ReplyDelete(craftymom85atgmaildotcom)
Im new in sewing I've learned a lot through tutorials I love tutorials, thanks for the chance these placemats are delightful.
ReplyDeleteI like to see lots and lots of projects! I'm always looking for new ideas and tutorials :) Beautiful work! I hope i win...
ReplyDeleteThe biggest thing for me is to be able to relate or sympathize with the writer. I like projects and tutorials, but if I don't know anything except for what they do in the craft room, I'm less likely to keep following.
ReplyDeleteThe placemat is so beautiful! I love tutorials and I can't wait to look at yours! I'm so glad I found your blog. =)
ReplyDeletecraftymama62[at]gmail[dot]com
I love seeing new and fresh ideas !
ReplyDeletewhat lovely placemats!
ReplyDeletejane.e.mckinzie@gmail.com
Well I guess I am not one to talk as I am not a good blogger but I love to see what people are doing and how they do it.
ReplyDeleteI usually look for projects that I like and/or I would also like to attempt when looking at a new to me blog. Of course a pleasant writing style is always a nice plus too.
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials, but mainly what keeps me coming back is a similar style (fabric and patterns) to mine and a fun, light-hearted blog. Based on these placemats, I'm going to be following you!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing lots of variety. I'm not always great at coming up with initial ideas myself, so seeing what others are doing helps get those creative juices flowing. So LOTS of pictures.
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous! I love a blod with lots of pictures and some real life experiences. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials and I love to see what you make for inspiration especially unusual items. I really love pictures too!
ReplyDeleteI love so many things about blog-land... tutorials, inspiration, a good laugh, even getting choked up. It has me coming back and checking daily!! Thanks for the chance to win an incredible giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteI like easy to follow tutes. It makes my crafts to try list very long though :)
ReplyDeleteOh good question - wish I'd thought of asking it for my giveaway! But first things first: LOVE your placemat and I'd be delighted if you chose my name as winner!
ReplyDeleteOkay, what makes me decide to follow a blog? Lots of things - it's written with a warm and/or funny voice I can relate to, it features projects that speak to my aesthetic, its layout is pleasing to my eye (no overly-busy backgrounds, no automatic music player), and probably most importantly, it keeps things real. I read a blog post recently where the blogger pointed out everything that had gone wrong with her project, and you know what? It was refreshing to read! I didn't feel so alone with my crap quilting stitches and occasionally-wavy seams.
Thanks for asking the question - the responses have been really really edifying for me as a blogger.
Good pictures that accompany solid tutorials. There is such a thrill that comes from making something on your own. I love to follow along w/ blogs that help me do that.
ReplyDeleteI love blogs that have cute tutorials and good pictures that I can follow easily.
ReplyDeleteI look for tutorials.
ReplyDeleteJenn
jaikok(at)yahoo(dot)com
I like tutorials that are easy to follow- and free patterns.
ReplyDeleteNice placemats- thank you.
And I love the name Frecklemama- could work for me, too.
I have to say, a good tutorial will keep me coming back. They don;t have to be all project tutorials, I've learned so many wonderful techniques from tutorials also. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteracergirl1313 at hotmail dot com
Tutorials that are easy to follow. And a good blog layout with everything easily accessible - esp past tutes :)
ReplyDeleteI like to read blogs who make things that apply to me and I would want to try making things they do. I like tutorials, but at the same time I like to look mostly for ideas and I figure out patterns on my own. I like blogs with new projects often and not a lot of other wasted posts (just posting to post). heather738(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteI love projects that are realistic (ie not an entire quilt with all new designer fabric in a week) with tutes & photos. At the same time, the inspiration in those crazy big quilts in one week is pretty fun!
ReplyDeleteI look for inspiration, but also for tutorials and/or patterns that I can follow. Simple projects are the best for me.
ReplyDeleteI love blogs with lots of pictures and/or tutorials!
ReplyDeletelmr3683 at hotmail dot com
What beautiful placemats! Thank you for the opportunity to enter to win them.

ReplyDeletebtw, i just made a tree skirt out of this collection! it's great.
I look for sewing blogs with simple tutorials and lots of pics to help a newbie like me. Love your placemats.
ReplyDeletejmclean at mts dot net
I love the colors you used. The blogs I follow are those of family/friends and those that tend to offer tutorials or ideas of things that I can make, too. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThose are just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI look for simple tutorials because I am a beginner. I am also a mother of three boys so I like things that aren't too girly.
ReplyDeleteLove the placemats, first of all.
ReplyDeleteAs for what I look for in a blog...good writing, inspiration, lots of pictures and tutorials. The person has to let their personality through, not just "I sewed this (picture)."
Thanks for the giveaway!
embyrfire(at)hotmail(dot)com
Those placemats are lovely! Fingers crossed that I win 'em! ;)
ReplyDeleteI {heart} tutorials!
First of all I have to tell you the placemats are gorgeous. LOVELY! I look for friendliness first, then information and pictures. Also I don't like blogs who make you feel silly is you ask questions as a newbie that might be simple to someone who has been sewing a long time you know.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteLovely placemats! I like to follow blogs that have great photographs and fun tutorials. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeletemvlouie99(at)yahoo(dot)com
Thanks for stopping by my blog!! You are so sweet! Your creations are AWESOME!! Which is what I look for in a blog...talent, hard work, generosity, and humor! :) Have a great giveaway day!
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway!! I like blogs that are well-written and kind, that have lots of pictures, different kinds of useful project ideas, and most of all, TUTORIALS!! (my favorite) :o)
ReplyDeleteI look for lots of pics, chatting and tutorials. Thanks for the giveaway, I am a follower too.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful placemat. To answer your question, in a sewing blog, I look for lots of pictures of final projects and good tutorials. I also look for projects that I would want to do. I follow the blogs that consistently have content that I want to read and projects that I would like to make. Thanks so much for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI like to read about what people are working on, the process, and see the finished items. I like tutorials and free patterns.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kerry
kerrykatiecakeskeb43@gmail.com
The placemat is beautiful. I tend to stick with blogs that don't post too terribly often. Even once a day can be too much for me, though I know for bloggers who are trying to grow their blogs and create a business, that might not be the best thing. I also like the posts to be short, sweet, and to the point, tutorials excepted. :) Thank you for the giveaway!
ReplyDeletelovely giveaway!
ReplyDeletei do like to see tutorials (and also recipes, although usually those are on different sites!), but more than that just to see different ways of going about sewing and quilting that i wouldn't have thought of.
thanks for the opportunity to win! :)
sarita0818 at comcast dot net
I generally look for a good mix of humor, tutorials, and great color combinations. Nothing catches my eye and makes me stay on a webpage quite like color.
ReplyDeleteI look for a mix! tutorials,pictures,humour..
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials with lots of photos. Love your giveaway!
ReplyDeletehttp://blackbird-bags.blogspot.com/
Thank you for the giveaway. I am a beginnner sewer, so I like blogs with step-by-step pictures. I have to see how to rather than follow a direction that might be foreign to me.
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway! Love the placemats! I really like blogs that have tutorials and lots of different projects.
ReplyDeleteHi - very fun placemats! I like blogs with tutorials for useful items, pictures of the items in use, and anything with recycled elements is a plus :)

ReplyDeleteI am having a giveaway too!! Come check it out if you like. http://hendrixville.blogspot.com/
Maybe you will like my blog :D
Very pretty place mats! Thank you for sharing them. :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I'm browsing blogs, I really like a combination of awesome craftiness (good looking, fun projects), a glimpse of real life (it's humanizing and makes me think I can do everything I have to do and still make pretty things), and personality from the writer.
These are so nice! ty!
ReplyDeleteI look for tutorials and how to tips like that. I like the new ideas people have. :)
I like blogs with easy to read fonts and lots of photos. If there are just a lot of words i tend to pass the blogs on by. I really love finding tutorials on blogs!
ReplyDeleteI would love to get the beautiful set of placemats and potholders! Thanks for participating! ~Kelly, wyndsung@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI love Michael Miller!!! Man is a design genius.

ReplyDeletecmgedge at hotmail dot com
I LOVE your prize!!! I love detailed tutorials, and patterns. I love to see simple projects with easy to find materials! and maybe a way to make quilting look more simple and inviting?
ReplyDeleteI like blogs with great photographs and tutorials but the writing style is important too. And if you throw in a dog I'm hooked!
ReplyDeleteI love these Christmas fabrics and I'm always on the look-out for holiday themed placemats!
ReplyDeleteIn a quilting blog I look for new ideas, inspiring photographs and detailed tutorials.
Happy Holidays!
zabecc(at)hotmail(dot)com
awesome placemat! when i follow a sewing blog i love to see what people are making. tutorials i am fond of, but i follow sewing blogs that never post tutorials. i guess it's important to have frequent regular posts, otherwise i just stop checking in to see if anything is new. i say this, and i am horrible at remebering to post on my blog, but i'm going to be working on that =)
ReplyDeleteI love one that has great instructions so I can make what they are showing off!
ReplyDeleteI love sewing blogs that offer tutorials. Lots of pictures always grabs my attention too!
ReplyDeleteI get sucked into blogs that post tutorials and pictures of cute kids. :)
ReplyDelete[that was not meant to be creepy!]
I love blogs that have a lot of tutorials and Sew-alongs. Thank you for the chance to win!
ReplyDeletesimply.simon.sisters(at)gmail(dot)com

ReplyDeleteLove the placemats...
nhsarab at yahoo dot com
I love how-to's/tutorials ... especially with step-by-step instructions for a beginner, like myself :)
ReplyDeleteceleste@mail4me.com
I love beautiful photos and also I like to see that the blogger is part of the larger 'community' - - taking part in swaps, playing on flickr, sharing information, that sort of thing! it's a big beautiful lovely community online and I love it!
ReplyDeletedonna (dot) mandeville (at) gmail (dot) com
I'm looking for inspiration... it doesn't even matter to me if I think I could do whatver you're doing or not. I'm a very-very-beginning quilter with no time for it, but I love to look at incredibly intricate ones. I also like to look at really simple, well-done ones.
ReplyDeleteI guess the thing that has made me delete craft blogs out of my google reader has been sloppy craftsmanship. I'm looking for inspiration, not something worse than the level that I do myself. Does that make sense? I am thinking of one blog I read that did some little appliques, and she had gone too fast with waaay too long of a stitch length, and it looked absolutely horrible. She passed it off by saying "that's the way stuff looks in the stores." Well, yeah, but the point of homemade is taking care and putting love into it.
Cute placemats! I am a beginning quilter, so I like blogs that have step-by-step instructions and photos for projects. I don't keep up with blogs that assume I know all the terminology!
ReplyDeletelibertylay(at)hotmail(dot)com
Beautiful placemats! I like simple tutorials that are unique and have good photography. I also like a lot of personality, too!
ReplyDeleteGreat placemats. Thanks for the chance to win. I like blogs that have tutorials and pictures of what the blogger is working on or has finished. I find it very inspiring.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous placemats! I'm a fan of blogs that have beginner friendly ideas, funny and sarcastic content, and nice pics! :) Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeletemy ad reply at hotmail
I really like seeing new projects with tutorials are hints. Reviews of patterns and problems encountered are nice too. What I hate is the PERFECT crafter/quilter who never has a bad day, always sews perfectly and all her projects are beautiful. A few mistakes are human and I prefer a human blog.
ReplyDeleteI think good photos and a good sense of design... photos are something I am still working to improve for my own blog. Thanks for the chance to enter, the placemat looks super cute!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the photos people take, the variety of fabric (we don't have that where i live), the tutorials
ReplyDeleteI tend to prefer blogs with a clear layout and many photos. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win such beautiful placemats.
Blogs with tutorials that include plenty of clear pictures are the ones I tend to follow most. I love the inspiration! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway. Have a wonderful Christmas.
I love blogs with great pictures and ideas! Thank you for the chance to win!!
ReplyDeleteI love blogs with Cool projects or good tutes and lots of photos always helps. Lovely placemats.
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials and lots of photos.
ReplyDeleteI like blogs that keep it real and simple. Eye candy is fun and all that but my favorites are always the ones with projects that I can look at and think, "whoa cute... even I could do that!" Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI think like anyone else I look for tutorials and lot of pics. Great giveaway. The placemats would look great in my dining room:)
ReplyDeleteI enjoy reading about what inspires other people--their lives, their families, their homes, colors, nature, etc. It motivates and encourages me to find joy and beauty around me, and to create new things! Thanks for a fun giveaway.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI look for a variety of things in blogs - tutorials, color, pizazz with their crafts...I like people who inspire me to craft and create outside of my box or comfort zone. I also love bloggers who make time for their readers! I have a small blog, but I really love when I follow a blog, comment, and receive a response. It's nice to know us little guys are appreciated :D
I like to see tutorials and patterns. Quick projects are good too, particularly for beginners like me!
ReplyDeletemelacan at hotmaild to com
I love when quilting blogs show lots of quilts in different patterns. I like all types of quilts- t-shirt quilts, rag quilts, baby quilts, bed quilts...
ReplyDeleteI also like when blogs show antique quilts or quilts that a grandma or great-grandma made.
Sally
bellsandunicorns(at)gmail(dot)com
I love reading blogs with fresh new ideas, frequent posts (I'm guilty of not posting enough!) and tutorials. I also like blogs that show things how they are, not some idealized version of life!
ReplyDeleteI prefer craft blogs that share honestly about process... as a beginning sewer, it's helpful to know that the beautiful end project included some quality time with a seam-ripper or a cutting error. Kate
ReplyDeleteakmajor(at)gmail(dot)com
I look for modern fabrics or new fresh ideas. Like your placemats and fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI am a first time quilter so I would be looking for easy tips and advice.
ReplyDeletexo Steph
Photos, stories of why you made something and where you got your inspiration from, tutorials are always good too! :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's super cute. I wanted to make placemats for christmas gifts but I think I am running out of time!
ReplyDeleteI love blogs that have a bit of humour and lovely photos, but I do also like tutorials... I am a useless sewer but I like to think that one day I'll be able to make the gorgeous things that talented people like you can create!
